What can I expect from a photoshoot?

Every photoshoot comes with a consultation in which we will discuss what you are looking for, and more importantly, the story you want to tell. In the photoshoot itself, we can then work together to create the photos you’ve been dreaming of.

I’ve never modeled before. Can you help?

Of course! I get how it is, standing in front of a camera is terrifying— there is a reason I prefer standing behind it. If you do have concerns about feeling comfortable in front of the camera, let me know and I can help to make sure we capture your true, comfortable, and authentic self.

We just talked about prices, why is it so expensive!?

A little peek behind the curtain here, the world of photography is simply very expensive. In fact, my prices are often 4 to 5 times cheaper than people doing very similar work to me. Still, they can be jarring. But, this cost goes towards covering the cost of gear, the cost of my time, and the cost of the hours of behind the scenes work you don’t necessarily get to see. This all accounted for, my prices are always negotiable, so let’s figure out what works for both of us!

I’m looking to save some money. Do I have to pay for editing?

While I know it can seem unnecessary to pay for editing, even if you are “fine with the RAW files,” as a freelance worker it is my responsibility to control the quality of work which I put in to the world. Having sub-par photos floating around with my name attached to them can damage my business. I hope that is understandable.
